Grad Requirements

WCA uses A Beka Book Publications as its curriculum. WCA students exceed the amount of credits required by the state for graduation.

A Beka Book Publications is the curriculum used, and it has a very professional reputation as the most widely-used Christian curriculum in the country. Achievement tests are given to all students in the spring.

Every effort is made to help high school students with career and college planning. We have the information students need to apply for and study for the SAT and/or the ACT. WCA also announces career fairs and helps arrange college visits for students. Seniors are allowed time off from school to make these college visits.

The college co-op program enables students to take additional courses through Westmoreland County Community College. This program offers credit toward high school graduation and college credits that can be applied to their college program of study after graduation. Parents assume responsibility for transportation and the costs associated with all college classes.
